Saint-Barth Cata Cup celebrates its 10th anniversary

The unmissable sport catamaran sailing event of the Caribbean blows its 10th candle this year. And for the occasion, organizers of the Saint-Barth Cata Cup will be celebrating by offering wild cards to every participant since the first edition. All winners of the previous editions will therefore be given the opportunity to race again with their partners. « The 10th anniversary is a date to save and we absolutely had to mark the occasion. The idea of bringing back former winners seemed to be the thing to do and we’re glad that almost everybody accepted our invitation », says Thierry Lhinares, the president of the St Barth Multihuls association and organizer of the Saint-Barth Cata Cup.

This great gathering is keenly anticipated by thousands of fans and tens of sailors from all around the world to witness and participate in one of the most famous ragattas of the sport catamaran world. During a whole week of races, sailors challenge the greatest F 18 professionals. By the closing of this year’s registrations, 82 candidatures have been submitted.

Everybody agrees that Saint-Barthélemy is the dream place for regattas, where all participants can enjoy a friendly moment.
