470 and 485 Top Cover in reinforced PVC polyester

This top cover is designed to protect 470 and 485 dinghies during storage or between sailing sessions.

Its cut is not too tight to make fitting easier. The adjustment is then made with sliding lines at the front and rear of the cover.

Installation

• The 470 cover is installed from the front of the boat.
• Fix the boom to the mast and tension the vang.
• Attach the cover to the mast using the strap.
• Position the cover on the boat starting from the front.
• Set up the water drainage sleeve.
• Secure the cover using the 4 straps under the boat and the side straps.

Water drainage

• Rainwater puddles can cause premature cover wear.
• The water sleeve system drains water collected at the rear of the boat.
• The water passes through a grid connected to the water sleeve, which goes through the rear hatch of the boat.

Important information

The boom must rest at the bottom of the boat during installation.
